As I travel a lot I was thinking how I could use my 'being on a road' for my project related to time and memory.
I decided to carry on my theme of dreams/memories. I will be doing this through photographing different sign boards wherever I go during the time of the project. I don't want the main aspect of the photograph to be the sign boards but all the images will have a signboard somehow.
The photographs I am shooting will be giving a happy feeling because obviously I love travelling and if be having fun. But they might give another feeling to others ripple because of maybe where they've been shot or where the sign boards are leading to. This is why I cannot exactly say what the feeling if my images would be. It will relate to what the viewer is thinking, doing that time or maybe with the past.
They will be related to time and memory because obviously they would be my travel memories so I will be editing them in a way that they look a bit dreamy. I will check what fits best with them according to the feel of the image. This means that I might be putting some of the images in black and white if I haven't had a good experience in that place. Others might be in colour related to how much I have had in that area.
Another thing that I want to try out is that when I take pictures of a sign board, there might be something in my mind going on that time. Or a quote related to time and memory. I want to try to photoshop the actual words of the sign board out and replace it with my thoughts that time or with quotes.
I am still looking for photographers that I could relate with this project and get inspired by because I think I can make quite an interesting thing out of it.
