Travel photographers

Because my project is mainly about travelling, I thought I should also research some travel photographers and see how they have chosen their locations to photograph. I found an article about the top 100 travel photographers that I thought I could relate to my project. Even though it is not exactly the same idea of photographing sign boards, I still think it helped me because it taught me how to choose my locations. Following are a few of those photographers that I have chosen to write about. 

Bob Krist

Bob Krist is a travel photographer that uses a lot of bright colors in his images and makes very powerful photographs. He has already received a lot of different awards because of his work as a travel photographer. He has also taken a lot of portraiture work during his career that also gained a lot of appreciation. Following is an example of his work.

Art Wolfe

Art Wolfe is also one of the very known travel photographers. Even though those photographers have not photographed boards like I am planning to do, they do think about the location quite wisely which is what I am doing as well. I need to decide properly where I am planning to shoot my work because they need to follow the same theme throughout the work. He has worked with really nice effects which is something that I want to try out as well in my work. I will try out different effects on my images as well that would make them look like something that is being thought about. Following is an example of his work that I really liked out of his work.

Sherry Ott

Sherry Ott is another one of the photographers that I have found and chose her to put in because of the picture below. The reason for that is that when I am usually travelling, I love looking at the sunset because you get a better view of it usually on the motorway or maybe I just notice it when I am travelling.
